Some Facts about Spanish

So why Spanish?.Because not only is learning Spanish becoming increasingly important in terms of the global economy, it can also play a major role in your own personal development. The Spanish passion for living is contagious and once you start to learn about their language and culture, you won't ever want to stop.
Spanish at South Stokes... Spanish I and II are offered as standard courses that are required to attend a four year college. There are 2 Spanish teachers at SSHS: Señora Lucy García-Fischer and Señora Yasmin P. Jaffe.
For students who excel in these classes, Spanish III and IV are offered as Honors courses. To qualify for Spanish III or IV, students must maintain an 85 average in Spanish II. Spanish V and AP Spanish are also offered as independent courses, combined with a Spanish 3/4 and are presented and taught on a hybrid online/tutored fashion by Sra. Jaffe.
